Euro-Mediterranean Summit of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions in Turin, Italy

The European Apprentices Network was invited participate alongside 120 participants from a range of economic and social councils, or similar institutions, representatives of employers, trade unions, other economic and social interest groups and NGOs from countries which are members of the Union for the Mediterranean.

This year, the exchange focused on Education and Training in the Euro-Mediterranean region and social economy and entrepreneurship in the Euro-Mediterranean region.

One of our members, Leonardo Miodrag participated as a key speaker on of the workshops dedicated to youth and vocational training. The key message of the presentation “How vocational education changed my life?” is the importance of Vocational education and how it can inspire students. Leonardo had a chance to talk about his experience in a Croatian vocational high school and in higher-VET in Denmark. He outlined the 7 Key Priorities European Apprentices Network is promoting and encouraging all stakeholders to shape apprenticeships programmes on the basis of these priorities.
